DEWEL: Use of coiler hydraulic circuit rotary joints
Hydraulic circuit Rotary joints are key components on the uncoiler and crimper expansion and contraction cylinders. Most domestic steel companies use imported products. The rotary joint is mainly applied to hydraulic mechanisms such as an uncoiler, a coiler, a spinning machine and the like in the hot rolling and cold rolling, slitting, cross shearing, finishing, pickling, galvanizing and color coating production lines of steel. Its quality and quality will directly affect the normal operation of the entire production line.
The uncoiler and coiler are used to open the coiled or coiled strip and are the key components in the complete set of equipment. They are necessary for pickling, cold rolling and finishing. The expansion and contraction cylinders of the uncoiler and the coiler rotate with the rotation of the unwinding drum. In order to ensure that the hydraulic system can continuously supply oil to the expansion and contraction cylinder, the pipe joint must use a rotary joint (the rotary joint is fixed (cannot rotate) The system pressure in the pipeline is transferred to the inside of the rotating cylinder), so that the expansion and contraction functions of the spool shaft can be realized during the opening and winding process, and the unwinding function is completed. The operation of the uncoiler and the coiler will directly affect the quality of the unit's products. If the rotation speed of the rotary joint cannot match the speed of the unit, the working speed of the unit is greatly reduced, which affects the output of the unit; if the sealing performance of the rotary joint is not good, the tension of the reel shaft will be reduced, and the reel shaft will be made. Slippage occurs between the coil and the coil, which affects the output of the unit. Therefore, the mechanical properties, sealing performance and working condition of the rotary joint will directly affect the normal working problems of the uncoiler and its unit.
Under different working conditions, the structural dimensions of the rotary joint will be different, but in any case, the rotary joint is composed of three parts. One is the rotating part, which is connected to the rotating cavity (cylinder) body; the other is the stationary part, which is connected to the stationary cavity (main pipe); the third is the sealing part, which seals the fluid to prevent fluid leakage or internal mutual entanglement. Therefore, the design and manufacture of the rotary joint should be convenient in processing, small in size, light in weight, safe and reliable in use, flexible in rotation, excellent in sealing performance, small in oil leakage and long in service life.
Dewel company is a Hydraulic rotary joint made by domestic steel mill hot-rolling leveling unit. It is also a product of surveying and mapping import conversion. The service life of the original conversion product is basically about 1 year. After 1 year, the sealing performance of the product will decrease, leading to leakage. The increase in volume has caused the tightening force of the expansion and contraction cylinder to decrease, which affects the output of the unit. In order to stabilize the output of the unit, the steel mill proposed to improve the rotary joints of our company. In the early stage, we have trial-produced two sets of joints after the joint mapping, and the service life did not exceed the former, basically maintained at about 12 months. Later, after repeated research and drawing, and on-site technical personnel communicated and exchanged ideas, and made full use of the strong advantages of our company's technical strength, based on previous experience, we boldly innovated and produced a very successful rotary joint. The service life has been more than two years, and its performance indicators are in full compliance with various usage requirements, and the current use is still good.
